A Taste of Monterey

 

 

  

Guests Arrive:
Lemonade is available before the ceremony.

After the Ceremony:
•Fruit and cheese display of Brie, port salut, herbed chevre, blue castello, seasonal fruits, cool deco, crackers, and crudite of fresh and marinated vegetables with a roasted red pepper dip.

•Seafood Bar. The chef is shucking oysters and serving up these delicacies: Malpeque oysters with lime mignonette, west coast smoked salmon with caper sauce and dark bread, jumbo prawns with chipoltle cocktail sauce, bay shrimp ceviche with baguettes.

At the Buffet:
•From the grill, rosemary leg of lamb with minted tomato salsa.
•Grilled salmon with a cap of artichoke hearts, oven dried tomatoes, basil & Kalamata olives.
•Lemon cous cous.
•Sugar snap pea salad with colorful garnishes.
•Sicilian salad with feta, olives, tomatoes, romaine and herbs.
•Good garlic bread.

After the Buffet:
Locally roasted coffee and decaf from Acme coffee in seaside, and of course the cake cutting. Maybe cupcakes or a chocolate fountain if you are a bit non-traditional.
