What's New @ Grapes of Wrath for Spring 2009?
We are excited to be working with Georgeanne Brennan this spring. Georgeanne is a leader in the slow food movement, acclaimed author and owner of a vacation cooking school in Provence and on her farm in Northern California. Check out her website: georgeannebrennan.com
Together with Serendipity Farms, a local organic cooperative, and The Holly Farm we will be offering a spring luncheon that will benefit The Democratic Women’s Club of California.
On March 2nd, 2009 Grapes of Wrath opened its newest exclusive facility: East of Eden. East of Eden is located in the hills overlooking Monterey Bay. Our new site has a hardwood dance floor, fire place, seating for 250 guests and a full bar. The wall to wall windows offer miles and miles of views. The environs offer a great space for weddings, family BBQs, corporate functions, non-profit events, and fun rehearsal dinners. Call Dana or Tamie for availability and fees (831.375.3336).
On Sunday, June 28th, from 1-4 pm, we will be hosting our monthly open house. It will NOT be held at our showroom in Pacific Grove, Ca. It will be held at East of Eden Events: our Banquet Facility in Monterey for all our 2009 prospective and signed clients, where food, wine, & beer can be sampled, and core staff can be met. Bring your family, friends, and lovers...because it's free!

On February 23rd - 26th, Grapes of Wrath Catering had attended the largest catering convention & trade show in the world, again, at Catersource 2009. With it comes new insights, fresh trends, modern equipment and a refreshed education.

About Grapes of Wrath
Dana Carnazzo came from a background of food and travel to found Grapes of Wrath, California Style Catering. She cooked on yachts in the Caribbean and South Pacific, upscale fishing lodges in remote Alaska and ships from Mexico to Southern Alaska. She returned to Monterey where she worked as catering manager for a prominent local company for five years before establishing Grapes of Wrath in 1992. Her love of good food, a great party and exceptional service has allowed Grapes of Wrath to continuously evolve into an award winning corporation.
